Police said a suspect is in custody and the victim suffered injuries that didn’t appear to be life-threatening.
DENVER — Denver Police were investigating the stabbing of a student at a high school on Friday afternoon.
The Denver Police Department tweeted at 3:39 p.m. that they were investigating a stabbing in the 600 block of South Monaco Street Parkway, the location of George Washington High School. Sky9 showed that the crime scene was in the school’s parking lot.
The victim suffered injuries to their left arm and hand that didn’t appear to be life-threatening, police said.
Denver Public Schools confirmed that the victim is a student at the school.
Police said a suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
