PUEBLO, Colo. — Police in Pueblo are asking for the public’s help finding a boy and girl who have been missing for almost six years after a child’s remains were found in concrete.

The Pueblo Police Department said on the morning of Jan. 10, officers responded to the 600 block of West 6th Street in regard to suspicious activity. Officers learned someone had found a metal container in a storage unit that was filled with hardened concrete.

Investigators searched the metal container and found the remains of a child inside. The child’s name has not been released. Police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Police are now trying to find two children as part of their investigation. Their names are Jesus Dominguez and Yesenia Dominguez, and they have not been seen since around the summer of 2018, according to police.

Jesus Dominguez was about five years old when he was last seen, and he would currently be about 10 years old. Yesenia Dominguez was about three years old when she was last seen, and she would currently be nine, police said.

Police said they have interviewed two people of interest in the case.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Pueblo Police dispatch at 719-553-2502 or Detective Nicholas Lile at 719-601-7751.

If you would like to remain anonymous, you can contact Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867 or www.pueblocrimestoppers.com. A tipster may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to a felony arrest.
