ARSENAL will be expecting to continue their unbeaten Premier League run as they welcome bottom side Sheffield United THIS afternoon.
The Gunners fought for a 2-1 away win at Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Goals from Brazilian duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus handed Arsenal a vital win in Europe.
In their last Premier League outing, Mikel Arteta‘s side snatched a 2-2 draw at London rivals Chelsea from 2-0 down.
Quick-fire second-half goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard meant Arsenal got a point on the board to keep them unbeaten in nine matches so far – six wins and three draws.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United have had a torrid return to the top-flight of English football.
The Blades sit bottom of the table and have only claimed one point from their opening nine games.
They also suffered a damaging 8-0 hammering to Newcastle but they should not be underestimated by the North Londoners.
Two stoppage time goals by Tottenham on their last trip to London saw them lose 2-1 and they have come close to nicking a point from both Manchester City and Manchester United.
Here is SunSport’s preview of the fixture between the title challengers and the relegation candidates…

Team news
Thomas Partey missed the Champions League clash in Spain due to a thigh injury he picked up in training on Monday and Mikel Arteta has revealed that the Ghanaian international will miss out.
Gabriel Jesus limped off with a hamstring injury after his goal against Sevilla and Arteta has also ruled the Brazilian out for a ‘few weeks’.
Jurrien Timber will definitely unavailable as he continues to recover from a serious injury he sustained at the start of the season.
Amid growing pressure on goalkeeper David Raya, all eyes will be on whether he starts between the sticks or if Aaron Ramsdale gets recalled.
For Sheffield United, they hope to have duo George Baldock and Anel Ahmedhodzic back in contention for the trip to the Emirates on Saturday.
But the game will come too soon for John Egan, Max Lowe, Rhys Norrington-Davies, Tom Davies and Chris Basham after his horror ankle injury.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side are in the midst of a defensive injury crisis that saw them play an out of character back-four last time out due to the restricted numbers.
Star players
Look no further than starboy Bukayo Saka to add inspiration to Arsenal’s attack.
With Martin Odegaard not in the best form, pressure is on the winger to unlock what is likely to be a mass protected Blades door.
Saka has four goals and three assists in eight Premier League matches.
There are concerns that Sheffield United do not have the quality to survive in the top-flight after losing key players over the summer.
But one addition made up for the departures – Gustavo Hamer.
The fiery and tenacious midfielder is no stranger to a tackle, plus a booking, but he has fantastic technical ability on the ball alongside Vinicius Souza in midfield.
