The “Super Bowl of Livestock Shows” ends Sunday with $12 grounds admission and a packed schedule of events.
DENVER — More than 500,000 people have visited the 2024 National Western Stock Show despite some of the coldest temperatures in show history.
The 118th annual Stock Show ends Sunday at the National Western Complex and Denver Coliseum in the heart of Denver.
On the schedule this weekend are the pro rodeo semifinals and finals, draft horse shows, kids’ activities, educational programs, bison, yak, alpaca, and llama shows, and working stock dog competitions.
Sunday is Guest Appreciation Day with $12 grounds admission tickets and free pony rides.
“We appreciate everyone who came out and braved the cold to enjoy Stock Show thus far, and despite some of the coldest temperatures on record, the 2024 show is tracking to be in the top 10 all-time in attendance,” said President and CEO Paul Andrews.
Part-rodeo, part-livestock show and part-fair, the National Western Stock Show brings hundreds of thousands of people to the National Western Complex in Denver each year for a celebration of Colorado’s agricultural heritage.
Now in its 118th year, the National Western Stock Show has one of the world’s richest regular-season professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows and Colorado’s largest agricultural trade show. The Stock Show welcomes attendees from 48 states and 32 countries and will drive an estimated $171 million in economic impact to Colorado.
The National Western Stock Show runs through Sunday, Jan. 21.
