STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — Authorities are looking for a driver who smashed into Steamboat Springs High School late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
School officials said the crash caused major structural damage.
The SUV, which officials said could possibly be a dark blue Nissan Armada, crashed into a set of double doors by the school’s bus lane that open up to the cafeteria. The SUV will have damage to the front driver’s side, school officials said.
There were tire tracks in the snow that showed that the driver of the Nissan SUV was doing donuts in the parking lot before the crash, according to school officials.

Anyone with information about the crash or who may have been involved is asked to call Steamboat Springs Police at 970-879-1144. Tips can also reported to Safe2Tell at 877-542-7233.
