LIVERPOOL breezed into the Carabao Cup semi-finals as they thrashed West Ham 5-1 at Anfield.
Dominic Szoboszlai opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a wicked 25-yard strike into the bottom corner.
Jurgen Klopp’s men doubled their advantage before the hour mark through Curtis Jones after he squeezed the ball past Alphonse Areola from an acute angle.
The Reds added a third in the 71st minute as Cody Gakpo rifled home from the edge of the box.
Jarrod Bowen pulled one back for West Ham, before Mo Salah burst through to restore the hosts’ three-goal advantage.
And a superb second of the evening from Jones capped a near-perfect night for Liverpool.
