A semi-truck struck a bridge on I-70 near C-470, causing the closure of westbound lanes, according to Colorado State Patrol.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — A semi-truck traveling west on Interstate 70 crashed into a bridge, causing the closure of westbound lanes Friday morning.
According to a tweet from Colorado State Patrol (CSP), all westbound lanes closed just after 11 a.m.
Traffic is being diverted onto eastbound C-470, CSP said. It is unknown when the interstate could reopen.
Crews from Golden Police and the Colorado Department of Transportation are responding to the scene.
