Police said the driver is in custody.
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Two police officers and two firefighters were injured by a suspected DUI driver in Commerce City Thursday night.
The Commerce City Police Department said the officers and firefighters were investigating a separate crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 near Sable Boulevard when they were struck.
Police said the DUI driver drove around their barricades before crashing into the scene.
The officers and firefighters were all taken to the hospital, and it’s not clear how seriously they were hurt.
The driver is in custody, police said.
