Chris Rock, Martin Short to host ‘Saturday Night Live’

“SNL” returns Nov. 7 with already announced host Paul Mescal and musical guest Shaboozey.

NEW YORK — Comedy legends Chris Rock and Martin Short are returning to Studio 8H.

NBC announced Rock, Short and Paul Mescal will host the final three episodes of “Saturday Night Live” of the year.

Academy Award-nominated actor Mescal, who currently stars in “Gladiator II,” will make his “SNL” hosting debut on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Mescal will be joined by musical guest Shaboozey, whose song “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has been No. 1 for a record-tying 19 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rock will host “Saturday Night Live” for a fourth time on Saturday, Dec. 14. Joining rock will be Gracie Abrams making her musical guest debut.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, Short will return for his third individual “SNL” hosting appearance and fifth overall. Hozier will perform for a second time as musical guest.

“SNL” will mark its 50th anniversary with a celebratory weekend culminating in a live primetime special on Sunday, Feb. 16.
