AURORA, Colo. — Southbound Interstate 225 is closed in Aurora early Friday morning.
The traffic in the southbound lanes of I-225 must exit at Parker Road, as of 3:30 a.m. Friday.
Several wrecked vehicles were on the scene as well as law enforcement from Aurora Police Department and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) first posted that the interstate was closed around 1:30 a.m. Friday “due to safety concerns.”
Drivers should expect delays in the area.
