One person was injured after a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi Saturday morning, Commerce City Police said.
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The westbound lanes of Interstate 76 are closed in Commerce City after a semi truck overturned after being involved in a crash with a pickup truck Saturday morning.
The crash occurred in the 10600 block of I-76, Commerce City Police said.
In a picture posted by police, a truck can be seen pinned under the semi’s trailer and tangled in the barrier wires in the median of I-76.
Police said one person was injured in the crash, but didn’t specify if it was the semi’s driver or someone in the truck involved.
The interstate will be closed for an unknown period of time. Police said the semi’s trailer needs to be offloaded before the semi can be uprighted and towed away.
