There are lane closures in both directions of the highway near Ward Road in Wheat Ridge.
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A crash is impacting traffic in both directions on Interstate 70 near Ward Road in Wheat Ridge.
According to a social media post from Fairmount Fire, the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Ward Road and involved a semi-truck that rolled over. They’re responding to the scene along with crews from Arvada Fire.
SKY9 was over the scene and it showed what appeared to be pipes littered across the highway. Traffic is getting by but it appeared only one lane is getting through in each direction near the crash scene.
It’s not clear if anyone was injured.
