MANCHESTER UNITED fans want to see the back of Casemiro after another dismal run of performances against Arsenal and Liverpool.
This comes Erik ten Hag is nearing a decision on the futures of academy defensive midfielder Toby Collyer and defender Harry Amass.
But just as Ten Hag let Willy Kambwala join Villarreal for £10m, he is again not committing to upholstering Amass and Collyer into the first team.
Both youngsters featured in all of United’s preseason games, travelling to the United States alongside academy lead coach David Hughes.
Left-back Amass, 17, is reportedly expected to continue the season at United given the injuries in that position, but there is a decision to be made on 20-year-old Collyer.
Collyer — who joined United from Brighton in 2022 — has impressed due to his ability to retain possession in deep midfield areas.
Ten Hag rates the midfielder but will weigh up whether to organise a Facundo Pellistri-style loan or keep him in-house to develop.
But this has left United fans fuming as they took to social media to voice their frustrations.
One fan wrote: “Loan out Casemiro.”
A second said: “Keep the two lads and develop them. Why get rid of the youngsters?”

Another added: “I’d start Collyer ahead of Casemiro despite all of his inexperience. At least he covers grass well and makes the right choices in possession.”
While on more chimed: “Sell Casemiro instead.”
The Brazilian’s wage structure makes it difficult for United to sell or loan out the legendary midfielder.
Casemiro, 32, is currently United’s highest paid player on a staggering £350,000 per week contract.
If a loan deal was arranged in the event of a miracle, the Red Devils would be forced to front at least half the cost – just like they did last season when Jadon Sancho fled to Dortmund for six months in January.
Meanwhile Sancho‘s trial as a false nine could continue in to the Premier League campaign as Joshua Zirkzee may need time to get up to speed.
Zirkzee did not travel with United to the USA, instead enjoying an extended holiday after Holland were dumped out of the Euros semi-final to England.
