FORT COLLINS, Colo — A Fort Collins Police officer and another person were injured during a shooting on Sunday.

At 1:43 p.m., police said on social media that roads were closed around City Park and Grandview Cemetery from Bryan Avenue to West Mountain Avenue, and Grandview Avenue to LaPorte Avenue.

At 3:22 p.m., they updated that an officer and a person they called a suspect were both shot. The officer was expected to recover. Police did not share any details on the other person’s injuries.

There was no active threat to the public, according to police.

The 8th Judicial District’s Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.
