3 injured after Wednesday morning crash in Aurora

The car went off the road near Sable Boulevard and East 4th Avenue.

AURORA, Colo. — Residents of an Aurora apartment complex near East 4th Avenue and Sable Boulevard are without power after an early morning crash.

At about 2:33 a.m., Aurora Police got a call of a vehicle that rolled over an Xcel box, cutting power to the apartment complex, police said.

Three people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were taken to the hospital but police say their injuries were not life threatening.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Xcel told 9NEWS that 301 customers in the area were without power as of 3:12 a.m. Crews are on scene working to restore the power and hope to have power restored by 10:45 a.m., Xcel said.
