DENVER — The holidays are here and Coloradans can celebrate with a Christmas-themed drink at one of the many Christmas pop-bars that are opening across the city.
Christmas pop-up bars have become more popular each year, with more Denver-area spots serving up creative cocktails and winter dishes in festive settings perfect for spreading holiday cheer.
Here’s a roundup of holiday pop-ups so far, the hours and dates they’ll be open and how to make a reservation.
Miracle at Union Station
Location: Union Station at 1701 Wynkoop in Denver
Dates: Nov. 22 to Dec. 29
What to expect: This whimsical pop-up cocktail bar promises to immerse guests into a non-negotiable state of Christmas spirit. With delightfully ostentatious holiday décor, delectable cocktails, and the nostalgia of childhood’s dancing sugar-plum visions, Miracle at Union Station is certain to convert even the grouchiest of grinches. This is a 21+ experience.
Walk-ins will be seated when possible or added to the wait-list, however reservations are strongly recommend.

Miracle at the Eddy
Location: The Eddy Taproom & Hotel in The Prospect Room at 1640 8th St. in Golden
Dates: Nov. 22 to Dec. 30
What to expect: With kitschy holiday decor, professionally-developed cocktails, and the nostalgic energy of the best holiday party you’ve ever been to, Miracle at The Eddy is sure to get even the grouchiest grinch in the holiday spirit.

Sippin’ at the Arvada Tavern
Location: Bernard’s Tiki Room at 5707 Olde Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada
Dates: Nov. 24 to Dec. 31
What to expect: Enjoy chilly nights with festive drinks while savoring delectable small appetizers like “Santa’s Hot Nut Sack,” pigs in a blanket, and desserts. Attendees can join the tropical 21 and up Christmas extravaganza at their secret tiki bar, Sippin’ Santa at Bernard’s Tiki Room.
Reservations can be made online or by calling 303-690-6269 to secure a spot. Reservations include a $10 non-refundable fee and are for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Sippin’ Santa at Ay Papi
Location: 248 Detroit St. in Cherry Creek
What to expect: This newly opened, Cuban-inspired bar has a vibrant and energetic cocktail bar, where Latin inspiration meets the party vibes of Cuba through the lens of Miami. More details to come on the Christmas-themed drinks, but for now it’s worth mentioning that, from mojitos to daiquiris and from Cuba Libre to Piñas Coladas, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Tinseltown: The Christmas Speakeasy
Location: The Venue at Denver Pavilions
Dates: Nov. 24 through Dec. 30
What to expect: Tinseltown is coming just in time for the festive season with an all-encompassing Christmas-themed pop-up that is overflowing with holly jolly spirit! Tickets must be purchased on the website below. The cost is $5 per person and it’s a strictly 21+ event.
Family sessions are available but no alcohol will be served during those sessions. Mocktails only.

SNOWdrift at Adrift Tiki Bar
Location: 218 S. Broadway in Denver
Dates: Nov. 24 through Dec. 31
What to expect: SNOWdrift is back for another year and attendees can expect to find anything from festive tropical holiday cocktails, yummy food, hot buttered rum and a variety of drinks served in holiday mugs. This year the tiki bar will have an eggnog themed punch bowl with gingerbread cookies, ornaments and sparklers.

Blazing Bright at The Inverness Denver
Location: 200 Inverness Drive West in Englewood
Dates: Dec. 1 through Jan 1.
What to expect: During the month of December, The Fireside Bar & Grill at The Inverness Denver becomes Blazing Bright, a holiday pop-up bar with over-the-top winter wonderland vibes. People can get a glimpse of twinkling trees and festive decor as they drive up to the hotel and inside, attendees can enjoy whimsical drinks like the Angry Elf peppermint martini, an Ugly Sweater Weather mule or the Not So Silent Night sangria.

Felix Navidad

What to expect: This December, all My Neighbor Felix locations will be transformed into holiday-themed pop-up bars that will include specialty holiday cocktails, cozy movie marathons, Christmas music, decor and more. The perfect atmosphere for girls nights or date nights and a fabulous backdrop for those Instagram photos.

Halcyon on Ice
Location: 245 Columbine St. in Cherry Creek
Dates: Nov. 2 through April 1
What to expect: A unique ice-skating adventure in the clouds. People can meet on the rooftop of the Halcyon hotel to glide their way through winter with Denver’s only rooftop ice skating experience, complete with breathtaking views of the Mile High City. Family and friends can enjoy hot beverages, decadent bites, plush blankets and soothing tunes. Ice tickets are $15 per person and include skates. Cabanas can be reserved.
