Denver Police said six people were injured in the shooting in the 5500 block of E. 33rd Ave. Sunday morning.
DENVER — Denver Police are investigating a shooting involving six people Sunday morning.
Police posted on social media at 4:38 a.m. that officers were investigating the shooting in the 5500 block of E. 33rd Ave. That’s just north of the intersection of MLK Jr. Blvd. and Hudson Street, east of downtown Denver.
The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known, and officers were working to develop suspect information, police said.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
