6 hurt in crash on 88th Avenue in Commerce City

Four juveniles were ejected from their vehicle as a result of the crash on 88th Avenue, according to Commerce City Police.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Six people were taken to the hospital following a head-on crash in Commerce City Tuesday morning.

According to Commerce City Police, a driver in a red vehicle was traveling west on East 88th Avenue near Dahlia Street when they veered into oncoming traffic and struck a minivan. As a result of the crash, the red vehicle ended up in a creek.

Four juveniles were in the red vehicle, all of them were ejected and at least one of them was critically injured, Commerce City Police said.

Two people in the minivan were also hurt and taken to an area hospital. No information about the extent of their injuries was provided.
