The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the girl was abducted from day care by her non-custodial father.

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Authorities say a missing 4-year-old girl who was taken by her non-custodial father in Centennial on Monday has been found safe.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the girl was abducted from KidsCo Childcare at East Smoky Hill Road and South Picadilly Street around 3 p.m. by 39-year-old Justin Cole, who violated a no-contact order when he forcefully took her, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office posted on social media around 5:15 p.m. asking the public to be on the lookout for the girl and the suspect. Minutes later, they posted an update saying the girl was found safe, and Cole was in custody. The sheriff’s office said the two were found inside a storage unit in a self-storage facility in Centennial.
