The toddler was walking in an apartment complex parking lot when the collision happened, police said.
BOULDER, Colo. — Police are investigating after a 2-year-old girl was hit and killed by a driver Monday afternoon in Boulder.
Boulder Police said the child was walking with her father in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 700 block of 29th Street when she was hit by a 2019 Chevy Colorado pickup driven by a 24-year-old man. Her father was not hit, police said.
A witness rushed the child and her father to the hospital, but the girl died a short time later, BPD said.
The pickup driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
Police are continuing their investigation and said any potential charges are pending.
