Aurora Police said the suspect demanded the victim’s cellphone, stabbed him and left. The victim is expected to recover.
AURORA, Colo. — A teenager was seriously injured after he was stabbed in Aurora, according to a release from the Aurora Police Department.
Friday night, officers responded to a hospital following a report of a walk-in stabbing victim, a 15-year-old boy, per the release.
The release said initial investigation efforts found that a suspect went up to the boy outside the area of South Peoria Street and East Archer Place, near the Aurora Hills Golf Course. A spokesperson for the police department said the boy was walking out of a building in the area when he was approached.
The suspect then demanded the boy’s cell phone, stabbed him and left, the release said.
The victim’s phone was not stolen, according to a spokesperson for the police department, and he is expected to recover from his injuries.
No information was shared about the suspect.
