Commerce City Police said 96th Avenue is temporarily closed from Heinz Way to Dallas Street while officers investigate the crash.
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Commerce City Police is investigating a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a semi truck Friday afternoon.
Police said the crash took place in the 9700 block of 96th Avenue, west of Highway 2. 96th Avenue is temporarily closed between Heinz Way and Dallas Street while officers investigate the crash, police said.
A spokesperson for the department said the fatal crash happened at around 2 p.m.
Police said the motorcyclist, a man, struck the semi truck and died at the scene.
No further information was shared about the victim.
